Practical FinOps for an AI world.
I am Abhiram Sampath, a Certified FinOps Practitioner. Over the last 22 years I have helped build, scale and simplify technology inside some of the world's most demanding companies: SAP, Google, Yahoo, Landmark Group and Telstra.
Today I work where cloud, FinOps and AI meet. I help teams turn complex technology into something efficient, measurable and genuinely useful: clearer cost accountability, better decisions between engineering and finance, and AI systems that deliver value without surprise bills.
I am especially drawn to AI and FinOps because they combine two things I care about most: innovation and impact. I like solving real business problems, questioning inefficient ways of working, and finding smarter paths to more value from technology.
I am based in Melbourne, Australia — the coffee capital of the world — where good ideas and strong coffee tend to go together.

Why this course exists
AI costs are becoming one of the hardest line items in a technology budget. Finance sees the invoice. Engineering sees the tokens. Product sees the quality risk. This course is my attempt to give FinOps practitioners, engineers, finance partners and product managers a shared language and practical tools to manage AI spend together.
